The SPS Best Doctoral Thesis Award will honor a recently graduated PhD who presented an outstanding thesis in the field of proteomics during 2025.

The prize will comprise 5000 SEK and an opportunity to present a summary of their work at the yearly SPS meeting in Umeå on 16-18/September (with the costs for the registration to the meeting being included).

Applications should consist of:

• Candidate details (name, email address, phone number)
• Thesis title
• Date of thesis defense
• Link to thesis in DiVA
• Short summary of the thesis (max. 2000 characters including white spaces)
• Short summary of your contribution to the work (max. 2000 characters including white spaces)

To be eligible:

• Candidates must be members of SPS
• The topic of the thesis must have been in the field of proteomics
• The defense must have taken place between 1/Jan/2025 and 31/Dec/2025
• The defense must have taken place in a Swedish higher education institution
